For more than sixteen years I have designed products where the stakes are high and the data is dense: a digital twin for industrial decarbonisation at Moeve, a geospatial analytics platform at CARTO, a global business banking app at BBVA, and B2B and IoT services at Telefónica.
I started in visual design and art direction, moved into interaction and service design, and went on to lead teams — growing BBVA's enterprise design team from 3 to 15 and rebuilding CARTO's design system. I still work close to the pixels and close to engineering: I write SQL, read APIs, and certified as an AWS Data Engineer to collaborate better with the people who build what we design.
Today I run Quotidiano Studio, an independent practice. Outside client work I write the Quotidiano Dispatch on Substack and draw by hand — the Spiralis Albuca series.
